Beginners Continuation Course

For dogs who have attended the Beginners Intro course or are suitable to join this course -see below

Starts 1 Jun

Class Description

For dogs who have had little or no training. They should be fairly comfortable working in proximity to other dogs. If you would like further information, please contact us. You will learn how to keep your dog's attention on you, learn to walk on a loose lead, settle in one place, plus how to play and have fun together and more. Information: Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes before your class start and wait outside where your Instructor will meet you. Bring your dog on a collar and lead or well fitting harness and plenty of small treats, a favourite toy and a water bowl. For the first night only, new dogs will need to show their Vaccination certificates. Please note, there are no waste facilities at the Centre, please clean up after your dog and take your waste home with you. We reserve the right to refuse a booking if we feel it taking part in the course would be detrimental to the dog's wellbeing. This course is the second part of a 10 week course, following on from the Beginners Intro course. You may be able to join at this point as a new participant this part of the course (depending on availability of places - first come, first served) If you are not sure, please contact us before booking.

Cancellation Policy

Good Companion Dog Training Club reserves the right to decline or refuse bookings where, in the opinion of the Instructor(s), participation in a class would not be in the best interests of the dog's wellbeing. Progression to a subsequent class is at the discretion of the Instructor(s) and will only be permitted once both dog and handler have demonstrated readiness to advance, subject to class availability. We welcome puppies as soon as they have completed their vaccinations which means they may join at any stage in the puppy course (space permitting) but, as a minimum, they must complete the full term /10 week course and complete all the required exercises for the Royal Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Certificate before progressing to the next class. For all other courses, dogs are expected to sign up from the beginning of that course. Bookings are accepted on a first-come first-served basis and are only confirmed on receipt of full payment. If bookings are cancelled before the beginning of a course, refunds may be offered only if the space can be filled. Once a course has begun, refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances. By making a booking you agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of Good Companion Dog Training Club. (Rules & Regs may be found on the website)
