Rules
By attending the sessions with Good Companion Dog Training Club, you agree to the following rules provided by the Dog Training Club and the rules of the Community Centre.

New dogs attending classes must provide proof of vaccination and agree to have their microchip scanned.

Bitches in season cannot attend class but their owners are encouraged to attend without their dog.

Dogs who are unwell must not attend class.

Dogs must be kept on a lead and wear a flat collar or harness during class, unless instructed otherwise by the instructor. Retractable leads are not permitted.

Bring a water bowl for your dog

Harsh punishment or aversive training methods are not permitted.

Owners must clean up after their dogs, and waste must be taken home..

Participants are expected to arrive on time for class. If unable to attend or running late, inform your instructor as soon as possible.

Children under 16 are welcome but must be supervised at all times during class.

If your dog has any behavioural problems, these should be disclosed before registration to facilitate a successful training plan and prevent unforeseen incidents.

If you cannot attend a workshop/course after booking, let us know as soon as possible. We will try to fill your place, and if successful, you’ll get a full refund. However, once the course has started, we can only offer refunds in exceptional cases.

The Club reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog if, in the opinion of the Instructors, the dog will not benefit from attending the class.
